A spacious suite, stylish furnishings and a breathtaking view over the Rantum Wadden Sea. At the Hotel at the dune you look out over the quiet side of the island. Relaxation is guaranteed in the Wadden Suite with fireplace.
The Wadden Suite is named after the ferryman Thomas Selmer. He actually came from Nordstrand, from where he transported building materials to Sylt by sailing ship around the middle of the 19th century. Later he obtained a concession to carry passengers between Munkmarsch and Hoyer in Denmark. In order to shorten the waiting time for passengers in Munkmarsch, Selmer had a ferry house with a taproom built at the harbour there, but he had it demolished after a short time in favour of a more comfortable lodging house.
The serenity and idyll of Sylt, in short the aura of the island, can be felt especially on the east side. Birds flying in impressive formations over the mudflats and the landscape that changes anew with the constant change between low and high tide can be marvelled at from the suite of the Wadden Sea hotel. Elegant furnishings on 60 square metres and a fireplace make your stay in the suite a special experience.
Get on your e-bike and cycle towards Morsum, hit a few balls on the golf course or walk along the mudflats between grasses and thatched houses. On a hotel holiday on the Wadden Sea, you can experience the beauty of the island with all its facets. You can let the impressions take effect on you:
Experience the cosiness and tranquillity of the hotel in our Wadden Sea suite, the North Sea and relaxation in the Söl’ring Hof’s own beach chairs.
